Carved between the Catawba River, tall pines, maples, and oak trees, Carolina Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole upscale daily fee facility, just minutes from Charlotte’s Ballantyne area. With natural streams and several ponds, Carolina Lakes Golf Club is a challenging but fair 7007 yard, par 72 championship golf course designed by Golf Course Architect Tim Freeland. With Bermuda fairways and G2 Bent Grass greens, Carolina Lakes Golf Club is a true test of golf.
Six sets of tees allow golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy the championship layout at Carolina Lakes. The course features a sixth or family tee which turns the layout into a par 55 course, with 17 par 3’s and one par 4, sort of a course inside a course. The course features several elevation changes, which are not only part of the beauty of the course, but also add to the challenge. Well placed bunkers and water hazards require players to use every shot in their bag.

Dress Code
Denim (any color), sweat pants, warm-up pants, t-shirts, tank tops, cut-offs, bathing suits, and tube tops are not permitted at any of the golf facilities at Carolina Lakes Golf Club, LLC. Men and Junior Boys are required to wear slacks or shorts and shirts with sleeves and a collar. Mock turtle neck shirts and hooded tops are permitted at the golf facilities. Women and Junior Girls are required to wear slacks, skirts, skorts or shorts and a blouse.
Rain Check Policy
Carolina Lakes Golf Club, LLC has a very liberal rain-check policy. Golfers will feel comfortable to come play a round when the forecast is marginal or under the threat of poor weather. If the golf course becomes unplayable, we will issue an 18-hole rain check if the golfer did not reach hole 5. A 9-hole rain check will be issued if the golfer does not reach hole 14. No rain checks will be issued if play continues beyond hole 14.
Please note: rain checks are not issued for rounds played after the twilight time as there is no guarantee golfers who tee-off after the twilight hour will complete 18-holes.
